omvio Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with omvio, including messaging, anti-spam and Meta platform obligations.
Version 1.0 · effective . Previous versions are available on request from legal@aa-labs.co.
This policy is part of the omvio Terms of Service. It sets out what you may and may not do with omvio. Because omvio sends messages through platforms with their own rules, breaking those rules puts not only your account at risk but the connected number, Page or Instagram account too.
1. Messaging conduct
You must:
- have a lawful basis and, where required, explicit opt-in before you message someone — particularly for WhatsApp template messages;
- identify your business clearly in the conversation;
- honour opt-out requests (“stop”, “unsubscribe” and their plain-language equivalents) promptly, and suppress that contact from future campaigns;
- stay within the Platform’s messaging windows and template rules;
- keep your contact lists current and remove people who ask to be removed.
You must not:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or message contacts scraped, purchased or otherwise obtained without consent;
- use a message template for a purpose other than the one it was approved for;
- impersonate another person, business or brand, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- send phishing, financial scams, fake offers, pyramid or “get rich quick” schemes;
- evade a Platform block, restriction, quality rating or messaging limit — including by rotating numbers, accounts or Pages.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use omvio to transmit, store or promote:
- content that is illegal where you or the recipient is located;
- child sexual abuse material — we report this to the relevant authorities and terminate immediately, with no notice period;
- content that harasses, threatens, defames or incites violence or hatred against a person or group;
- malware, ransomware, exploit code or links to any of the above;
- material that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- goods or services a connected Platform prohibits — including firearms and ammunition, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, tobacco and vaping products, prescription medication without authorisation, live animals, human body parts, unlicensed gambling, adult sexual services, and unauthorised financial or cryptocurrency offerings. Meta’s commerce and business messaging policies are the operative list; this is a summary.
3. Technical conduct
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any authentication measure, without our prior written permission (see section 5);
- access another workspace’s data, or attempt to;
- circumvent plan limits, rate limits or usage metering;
- use automated means to scrape the Service, or place a load on it that degrades service for other customers;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or to benchmark it for a competitor without our written consent;
- remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notice.
4. Data conduct
- Do not upload personal data you have no lawful right to process.
- Do not use omvio to build profiles of individuals for sale or for advertising targeting.
- Do not export End User data in order to sell, rent or license it.
- Take care with special-category data (health, financial, biometric). If your use case requires it, ensure you have the additional legal basis it demands.
5. Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. Request written authorisation first from security@aa-labs.co, test only against assets we agree, never against another customer’s workspace, do not exfiltrate data beyond what proves the finding, and give us reasonable time to fix before disclosure. See Security Practices.
6. Enforcement
Where we become aware of a breach we will normally contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. Where a breach is severe, ongoing, illegal, or endangers the Service or a connected Platform, we may suspend or terminate immediately without notice. We may also be required to report a breach to the relevant Platform or to law enforcement.
